The Wisconsin Health Information Management Association supports Wisconsin students pursuing their education as health information professionals. To qualify, you need to be an active member of WHIMA and AHIMA and you must submit evidence of attendance at continuing education program and personal payment for program or successful completion of credentialing examination. If you haven't heard back within a few weeks, reach out to the scholarship organization! Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants. It never hurts to follow up.
