Horticultural Research InstituteOverview
The Usrey Family Scholarship is awarded annually to an undergraduate or graduate horticulture students enrolled in a California state university or college. To qualify, you need to have a minimum grade point average overall of 2.25. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to work within the industry. To apply, you need an essay and two letters of recommendation.

To prioritize your scholarship applications, think about which scholarships you have the best chance of getting (the most specific ones, with more than one winner), the ones due the soonest, and the ones that are awarding the most money.
