This scholarship is for students who are pursuing a degree in CALS with a major related to agriculture, and are incoming freshmen or transfer students attending their first year at the University of Idaho. Applicants must be from the Magic Valley and demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants must apply to the University of Idaho and submit a short video.

If you haven't heard back within a few weeks, reach out to the scholarship organization! Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants. It never hurts to follow up.
