The Richard J. Bea Community Service Scholarship offers $5,000 to $7,500 for students from Grossmont Healthcare District who are enrolled in an accredited registered nursing program. To qualify, you must either reside and have worked in the Grossmont Healthcare District OR have previously graduated from a high school within the Grossmont Healthcare District. You must also be involved in community volunteer work, not necessarily in the nursing field. To apply, you must submit a reference and write an essay describing your interest in nursing and how you hope to impact your community.
