The Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship For Minorities is for individuals engaged in graduate study leading to a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Science (Sc.D.) degree and are committed to a career in teaching and research. To qualify, you must be an Alaskan Native, Native American, black/African-American, Mexican American, Pacific Islander, or Puerto Rican. You must also have completed no more than 30 semester/45 quarter hours of graduate work in fields eligible for support. An essay and recommendations are required.
