The The Lanford Family Highway Worker Memorial Scholarship Program is a scholarship for students who are the sons, daughters or legally adopted children of highway workers killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty, pursuing post high school education. To qualify, you need to be attending a post-secondary institution of learning that requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and a GPA of at least a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. To apply, you need a Proof of parent’s death in line of duty or if parent is permanently incapacitated. You'll also need a typewritten statement, at least two letters of recommendation and a recent high resolution photo.
