Overview
The $3,000 Kay Longcope Scholarship Award is for an LGBTQ individual of color planning to pursue a career in journalism. Graduate students must be enrolled in a journalism program. For undergraduates, a declared major in journalism and communications is desirable but not required. To qualify, you need to be an NLGJA member. To apply, you need a resume, five work samples and an essay.
