The Kalamazoo Community Foundation provides up to $4,000 in scholarships to students throughout Kalamazoo County. Some scholarships are based on merit, financial need, or extracurricular activities. Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants.
