Overview
This scholarship is offered to graduates of Lee County or Monroe County Schools who will major in a medical field. To qualify, you must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and will attend a college or university in the state of Mississippi. You'll need an essay and two recommendation letters for the application.

It's basically a summary of why you're great and deserve the scholarship or funding you're applying for! Typically, students ask teachers, mentors, coaches, or employers (never family or friends). FYI: You have to ask someone to write a letter of rec for you.
