The Jenkins Memorial Scholarship offers $4,000 to public high school seniors preparing for a teaching career. To qualify, you must attend a college of the State University of New York for a baccalaureate degree in education -OR- plan to attend a two-year community college before transferring to a baccalaureate degree program in education in a college of the State University of New York. You must also attend a high school in New York State in a school where there is a PTA/PTSA unit in good standing.
