The Heisman High School Scholarship is looking for all types of high-achieving seniors from public and private high schools within the U.S. To qualify, you mustĀ be a role model within your school and community, participate or have participated in grades 9, 10, or 11 in at least one of the sports recognized by theĀ International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, theĀ Paralympic GamesĀ or theĀ National Federation of State High School Associations. It's basically a summary of why you're great and deserve the scholarship or funding you're applying for! Typically, students ask teachers, mentors, coaches, or employers (never family or friends). FYI: You have to ask someone to write a letter of rec for you.
