The Farah & Farah Empowering Greatness Scholarship awards five Florida high school seniors with two years’ worth of college tuition. The scholarships can be applied to any Florida institution. To qualify, you must attend a public or charter school in Florida, and demonstrate outstanding academic performance, financial need, and dedicated community engagement. An essay or a video is required. Apply!

If you haven't heard back within a few weeks, reach out to the scholarship organization! Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants. It never hurts to follow up.
