The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies provides $500 to $8,000 scholarships to students throughout Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Indiana, Jefferson, Somerset, and Westmoreland counties. Some scholarships are based on merit, financial need, or extracurricular activities. Each scholarship has its own application, which may ask for an essay and recommendations. Local students have a very high chance to win!
