Carl Parsell $2,500 Scholarships are awarded to deserving college-bound students who desire assistance with their college tuition. Those benefiting from this program are the MAP, MAPE, and MAFF union members and their relatives. Scholarship candidates must be a resident of the State of Michigan, must not have been convicted of any misdemeanors or felonies, and must be enrolled at the time of receipt of the scholarship as full-time students. Candidates must submit an original Application Form to apply.

To increase your chances of getting a scholarship, apply early, follow all application instructions, and write a great scholarship essay (if applicable)! For more help, ask a Mos advisor!
If you haven't heard back within a few weeks, reach out to the scholarship organization! Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants.
