The A.O. Putnam Memorial Scholarship is open for full-time undergraduate students enrolled in an industrial engineering program or equivalent. Students may not apply directly for this scholarship and must be nominated by IE department heads or faculty advisors and nominations must be submitted to the Institute headquarters by Nov. 15. Preference is given to applicants who have demonstrated interest in management consulting.

If you haven't heard back within a few weeks, reach out to the scholarship organization! Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants. It never hurts to follow up.
