To fund graduate students who are presenting research at local, state, national, and international conferences, the Healthy Aging Research Undergraduate Scholarship offers Up to $800 to UW School of Nursing graduate students in good standing, students already committed to attending a conference, and students with an accepted abstract. Priority consideration will be given to first-time applicants with an accepted research presentation. Scholarship awardees are required to attend conference and give research presentation, submit original or PDF of receipts to the de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging within 2 weeks of the conference, and agree to present conference learnings at a SoN open forum.

Some scholarship organizations email all the applicants to let them know if they were selected or not, while others only contact the winners—it usually depends on the number of applicants. It never hurts to follow up.
